Mental Health Awareness & Support in Motherhood with Arielle Wozniak
Today (October 10th) is World Mental Health Day, and in this episode we are getting into all things maternal mental health with Mental Health Coach and postpartum depression survivor Arielle Wozniak. I believe in the power of sharing our stories to positively impact the lives of other moms, and this conversation is full of transparent reflections and relatable experiences that are sure to help any mom who has dealt with mental health struggles, or knows someone who has, feel less alone.
In this episode Arielle and I talk about:
- The reality that depression and anxiety look different for different people at different times
- Why we must consider the individual when treating mental health
- The importance of sharing our stories with PPD & PPA
- What intrusive thoughts are and why we need to be talking about them
- How support can help us feel less alone
