Mom's Mental Health Matters: How to Make Your Mental Wellness a Priority with Sara Springer
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and this week I am joined by Sara Springer of Rebel Housewife Blog to talk all things mental health and healing in motherhood. From Sara's own story of hitting rock-bottom with postpartum depression to how every mom can start to prioritize her own mental wellness, this episode is for you no matter where you are in your mental health journey.
In the episode, Sara and I talk about:
- The impact of mindfulness, intention, and self-awareness on mental health
- Recognizing intrusive thoughts for what they are
- Becoming more aware of what you need at any given moment
- Healing as a lifelong process rather than an end destination
- How knowing our values can help us make better decisions for ourselves
- Why Sara decided to share her story and takeaways in her new book
A little about our guest:
